Christopher J. Wright, M.D.

A native of Lynchburg, Virginia, Dr. Wright spent much of his formative years in California, Texas and Ohio. After high school he entered college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he achieved a place on the Dean’s List and from where he received his B.A. in Zoology in 1994. In 1996 he entered the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo where he distinguished himself by being inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Wright earned his M.D. degree in 2001.

He pursued his medical training at the University of Virginia Health Science Center, starting as an Intern in Internal Medicine and then concentrating his Resident studies in Neurology followed by a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology/Comprehensive Epilepsy. From 2006-2007 Dr. Wright completed his Fellowship while serving as an Instructor in Epilepsy.

Dr. Wright and his family moved to Louisiana in the Summer of 2007 to join our ranks at Southeast Neuroscience Center. His practice encompasses general neurology with special interest in epilepsy.
