Kenneth Chris Rachal, Ph.D.
A native of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Dr. Rachal moved with his family
to Thibodaux, LA as a young man and attended E.D. White High School.
He attended Nicholls State University where he earned his Bachelor of
Arts in Psychology and, in 1995, his Master of Arts in Psychological
Counseling.
He continued his studies at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana
where, in 2000, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology with
specialties in Counseling Psychology and Neuropsychology. He completed
a Clinical Neuropsychology Internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical
Center in Cincinnati, Ohio which was followed by a Clinical Neuropsychology
Postdoctoral Fellowship through the Cincinnati Neuropsychology Consortium.
Dr. Rachal is certified as both a Clinical Neuropsychologist and a Counseling
Psychologist. He holds a position with Nicholls State University as
an Assistant Professor in their Psychology Department and heads the
Neuropsychology & Behavioral Medicine Division of Southeast Neuroscience
Center.
He is married to a fellow professor at Nicholls State and resides with
his family in Thibodaux, LA.
He is accepting appointments at both our Houma and Thibodaux offices.
