Edward Stewart Haight, M.D.
Dr. Haight was born in Decatur, Georgia but was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended Baton Rouge High School and Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in Zoology. He held a position for two years as a Biologist with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries until he entered LSU Medical School. Dr. Haight received his Doctor of Medicine in 1996. Following his residency in Neurology in which he earned the distinction of “chief resident” and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, both at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, Dr. Haight joined the team of physicians at SNC in 2001. He received certification by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2003. Dr. Haight has participated in numerous clinical trials for the past few years. He serves as Medical Director of SNC’s Infusion Center and is the primary physician in our Thibodaux office. He is married to Maria Braud, M.D., a Psychiatrist, and resides in Thibodaux, LA.
