Amartyadeb (Ronnie) Goswami, M.D.

Dr. Goswami, a native of Calcutta, India, received the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Medical College of Calcutta in 1987. After two years of clinical research at that facility, he entered the University of North Dakota Medical School and was certified in 1989 by the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. In 1990 he passed the Federal Licensure Exam in Pennsylvania. He relocated to New Orleans, LA where he completed a Neurology Residency, an Electromyography Fellowship, and a Clinical Neurophysiologist and Sleep Fellowship at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. During the past four years, three years at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania and one year with the Lovelace Medical Group in Albuqueque, New Mexico, Dr. Goswami has integrated his practice to include Polysomnography, Electromyography and Clinical Neurophysiology along with General Neurology.

Dr.Goswami has been Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2005.

On September 1, 2006 Dr. Goswami joined our staff and is practicing at our Lafayette location. His areas of concentration include general Neurology, Neurophysiology, and Sleep Medicine. He holds medical licenses in Louisiana, New Mexico and Pennsylvania.
